An escorted small group tour to the Hindu
Heartland of India, a land of temples great and small on the Indian
Ocean. See the Shore Temples at Mamallapuram, visit the silk centre of
the south, Kanchipuram and enjoy the storied cuisine of Chettinad.
Visit the great Meenakshi Temple at Madurai before climbing up to
the tean and spice plantations of Thekkady.
Cross the Western Ghats and
descend to the backwaters of Kerala State on the Arabian Sea. Enjoy a
resort stay in Kumarakom and an overnight on a Houseboat on the
backwaters before ending the trip in the Multi-Cult city of Cochin, with
its Chinese Fishing Nets, Dutch Palace, Portuguese Church and Jewish Synagogue,
as well as the Spice Bazaar area. A trip that is truly a feast for the senses.
